I order the vent shades for my Tacoma pro. I have always used WT products. UNTIL today! The rear shades and passenger side shade installed like a glove. The driver side shade approximately 3 inches too long with a very jagged edge. Now I have sliced driver side weather stripping. I’m pissed beyond belief! With that being said WT is sending new vent shades. And yes the directions were followed to the “T”

I'm missing something. How did a ventshade, that goes on the top of the window opening, scratch the bottom of your window opening without it being your fault?

Believe they go all the way down to the side of the side view mirror.

OP - try and heat the scratch up a little bit and push the scratch in with your finger. Might blend it in a little more. Better the rubber than the paint.

Because the shade covers the perimeter of the outside of the window

Not to mention the sharp jagged edge which shouldn’t be there due to it being laser cut

Can you post a photo of the two passenger side windows up close?

The Passenger side is perfect. The shade sits on top of the door sill. Driver side was three inches too long. And cut at the wrong angle. This caused the damage.

Well guys the replacement strip was only $17 bucks. The new replacement WT shade was correct and 4” shorter than the original.

Why did you install something that you noticed was to not the right size and had a sharp edge that the other side did not?
