    Well, I've finally gotten myself my first truck and I couldn't be happier with it. A client at work was getting ready to part with his Tacoma which he bought new back in '96 and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get my hands on a one-owner, 74k mi, bone stock truck. I'm big into Volkswagens personally and I value one owner/low miles vehicles above all else when shopping. There's hardly a spot of surface rust on this thing and the inside is nearly immaculate. I'll update the thread once I've had a chance to do my small touch ups and detail the truck thoroughly (for the great care the last guy took - he didn't spend quite so much time keeping it perfectly clean.)

    I've found the site to be very helpful already with learning more about the truck, and I'm looking forward to sticking around awhile!

    Wow.... V6 Regular Cab w/ Manual? Nice Truck! I'm pretty sure those are rare. How's the frame?
    A lot of those got crushed because of the frame rust.

    Wow...if that were me - I'd do a complete restoration. In 3 years (in PA ) you could register it as an Antique!!
    Being as rare as it is.....could be worth good money some day. :)

    Frame is basically spotless. I'm doing the truck's first front brake job/rear clean/adjust as we speak. I'll snap a pic or two while it's on the lift -- haven't gotten to wash it yet though.
