Centre console removal

I would like to remove centre console in order to wire a few blue LEDs in order to illuminate the cup holders. Also, want to run a wire harness under it from the OEM stereo to an LC2 with 2x Alpine amps mounted on the back wall of the access cab. Does anyone have pics and instructions how to remove? Especially how to get shift level of off shaft.

 

You should do a thorough search before attempting to do this. This is a relatively novice disassembly and there should be instructions on the site. There are definitely instructions for removal of the shifter etc. Just look around and you will find previous threads discussion this. Best of luck. Post pics when you get the lights installed.

 

It just pulls straight up, but personally I don't find it easy to remove. Search for the thread about the SSP (Shift Sense Pro). There is a video that shows the removal.
