    I want to say that it is illegal in every state to have headlights that didn't come from factory. Yes, there are more and more vehicles coming stock with HID's, but it is still stock from factory. As long as you have projectors for them and are aligned properly, then you'll be safe. When people just put HID bulbs in stock housings, then yeah they surely catch cops' attention and blind everyone in front of them. Get it done right by retrofitting, keeping your reflectors as is, and use bulbs no higher than 8000K.

    Anyone ever have issues with the ballast computer? Recently my passenger light doesn’t come on unless I unplug the ingitor and plug it back into the computer.

    I've had 2 ballasts go bad. I ended up buying some OEM Denso ballasts and haven't had trouble since. (They were expensive because I ordered them waterproofed and they are also a little more bulky than the Morimoto ballasts)

    Anyone here have experience with using a mini H1 kit vs a mini D2S kit? My mini H1 kit is going on 6 years old now and Both ballasts and one bulb need to be replaced. Looking at the cost of doing that vs just buying a new D2S kit and I’m leaning toward getting a new D2S kit.

    Is the performance that much better than the mini H1?

    @TRSAndrew I am looking into making an order and would like to know if TW members can still get the 15% discount. Is there a new code?

    I am looking to get a Morimoto Elite HID kit and XB Fogs. Any chance of getting the discount code working again? Or is a Black Friday code going to be in place this year? If so, I'll just wait.

    May have to change one of my HID bulbs in my retros that RAD made a few years ago. That being said, I am curious if anyone that has done this can tell me if I need to remove the housing to do it?

    Thanks for the info.

    A thing or two...
    @TRSAndrew

    Do you still monitor this thread? I'm interested in retrofitting the lights on my 2008 and trying out the Profile D2S Stage 3 kit. The projectors are similarly sized to the ones listed in the OP, so I assume they'll fit without issue. I was wondering though if it would be possible to extend the 15% discount to the Profile D2S kit. Thanks.

    The discount code in the first post still works. Just add one of the mentioned kits to your shopping cart.

    You should just order the Motoholders. Gets rid of the springs altogether. It’s what the projectors should have come with in the first place.
