    Getting back to Toyota truck.

What kind of updates have Toyota made on the tacoma since 2017, as standard features?
Have they fixed all (or most) of the minor issues?
What are the advantages/disadvantages of getting a 2018 vs 2019 Tacoma Sport now or wait until December for EoY sale? Not in a hurry.

PS: My neighbor just bought a 2018 tundra crew Max Limited for only 42k before tax. It's big but it's powerful and very comfy. I am debating between the two.

    Thx

2019s are on/hitting lots now so deals on 18s are happening already
Most every month at end of month is a good time to buy
Getting a good price is doing your homework, check the "how much did you pay" threads in this section
..............dont walk into a dealership without an education, i like to buy cars using internet salesmen and have price negotiated before walking in

    Getting rid of the 4runner?

I kept my Tacoma about a month before trading it in for a trunda. i wasn't happy with the trans. and no room.
It wasn't my daily driver, when i need a truck it should be a full size for me.
I guess i had a senior moment when I went with the Tacoma.

    17 to 18
TSS package (radar cc, collision prevention, etc). Aesthetic changes like grill and tail lights. Package configurations are a little different and paint/trim combos changed slightly as expected. I believe the 18 also has locking passenger floor mats.

For 2019 they took away the left bed cubbie and added another USB port.

Go get ya a deal on a 18.
