2008 Tacoma Has the normal bumps and scratches and dings. Pain not perfect.
After the last hurricane the hood of my truck looks like the Clear coat is fouling up ...tiny little dots looks like something is on it but it doesn't come off with compound. It's on the top of my fenders and hood, on the flatter horizontal surfaces. Anyone else have any issues?

Insurance company, it was obviously exposed to some harsh chemical. Good luck!

Wow, that is interesting. Did your truck happened to have a paint protection film installed at some point in the past? The reason I'm asking is it resembles air bubbles underneath a clear decal before they are squeegeed out.

As far as i know straight stock paint. Had a new Bumper last April after a deer encounter. this was not like this Prior to Hurricane Michael. I was in eastern NC after Hurricane Florence two weekends, doing cleanup.

yuk...something got on the finish that it definitely do not like. If it won't buff out, I believe you're in for some paint work. or at least new clear coat.

Interesting. Yes, what the hell would make this happen so suddenly?

    UPDATE
Insurance Co. looked it over....had no idea what caused it.....Body shop no idea either.... together they concluded that something was sprayed on it or kicked up from road onto the truck. Insurance is paying for it all to be fixed.

Clay bar did not remove it?

the bumps in the photo were slightly raised. The dots you see couldnt be compounded out. Should have it back next week
