How do you like them? Is light output reduced?

 

I purchased it through SSO and paid under $900 for that setup. It was during their last group buy. The smittybilt x2o I got through 4wd.com during a time where I was able to apply multiple rebates/discounts. Got it for a steal!

You just pull the covers off of the fogs and snap those on and put the covers back on, you need to tug a bit to get them off

Oh and light output is now amber so its reduced but still functional.

They are slightly dimmer, but provide a nice amber light.

Unfortunately I was rear ended about 2 weeks ago and the insurance ended up totaling my Taco (even though it doesn't look like it).

I ended up switching back to a 4Runner since it better fit my lifestyle!

I loved the Taco and I'll still be around! I have some accessories and stock take offs laying around that will eventually be going up for sale.

Frame was bent and dealer said lead time was 6 weeks. I was already in the rental for 1 week by the time that happened. Texas is a 100% Total Loss Value State too. Not really sure but I made money on the truck after I put 12K miles on it so I wasn't mad.

BlackVue is. A great system but they try to up sell cards that are way overpriced claiming that other brands will not work, I purchased a Samsung 128 micro SD EVO card. Get the card that is recommended for extreme environments and security cameras. Works just fine and love my 900 2 channel

 

The Front bumper on the Tacoma is nothing but plastic also. My truck got bumped in a parking lot, broke all of the clips holding plastic cover on. Replacing with a Demello Offroad front bumper.

 

interested. can you make pods that do other things in the same configuration that you have these? say like an inclinometer for those of us with TRD Sport models?

 

If you can do a "hair cell" texture on the pods they will look so much like OEM preople will freak.

 

It was still on the truck but the door was cracked and I'm not sure of the condition of the cubby since that area was bent up. I'll see if insurance will let me take it out.

 

That's crazy! Makes me wonder if a real bumper would do me any good or if it would just be eye candy. At any rate I'm glad you weren't hurt and hey you're still in a Tayota. Cheers Brother! Enjoy your new ride!!
