Here is another to add for anyone looking in the future :D.

Only 15 miles in, but happy so far. I think they look pretty good with the white lettering out!

    AT3 4S
    265/70/R17

Threads here on TW have helped me decide on the AT3 4S 265/70 R16.
My source (family contact) just told me they're in their warehouse waiting for me.

Just curious why you didn’t choose 265/75/16? Since that would be a direct replacement (I think).

2016 TRD Off-Road OEM tire size is 265/70R16. I went for direct replacement.

I am thinking something like an "E" rated for off road punctures to side wall.

Maybe ST max, but seems lots of folks are complaining about pulling to right
and lots of wheel balance weights

Huh? Have not read that about these tires. Atleast in this thread, unless I missed something. I understand wanting the E load rating for offroad.

I put AT3 LT’s on mine in an E, no complaints. They do throw rocks pretty bad, but I’m not worried that much about it.

Good to hear. Been Highly considering the LT's in load range C.

There’s not but a couple pounds difference and the E’s were $20ish/tire cheaper for me.

Curious about the ride with the E's? Too stiff for the Tacoma or manageable?

It’s noticeably firmer, but feels more stable on the road. I drive a gravel road daily, it rides a little rougher but I don’t mind it. It corners better now, less roll to it. It’s firm, but not harsh. I’d buy them again.
Also keep in mind that I’m at 40 psi, at 32-35 they’d ride about like stock i would think.

Go to the thread: Show Off your Cooper ST Maxx, that is where I found out. Good read.

I am considering the Max in "E" load

If you’re looking at the ST Maxx, E load isn’t ready a consideration...it’s essentially mandatory.

255/75/17 is the only non E load size unless you go to 35s/37s, or run a 15” wheel.

Also as previously stated: ST Maxx and the AT3 are completely different tires.

I found a better price than currently offered on your web site for the Cooper Disc. AT3 4S in 265/75R16 116T. I tried to do the price match option, but it failed to work.

Any thoughts or suggestions for me?
