I havent mounted the antenna somewhere or run coax. I actually need to pick up some reasonably short coax to run through the firewall.

 

I'm keeping my antenna in the rear. Hangs out fine with the cap.

Fab a bracket like Cody did for rear mount, shouldn't have to buy new coax that way. Unless you just want the antenna up front?

 

Skipping Black Mountain, even though I wanted to go, and staying home for Halloween shenanigans. Been a couple years since I went to either of 2 Boo Bashes, the girl's kiddos wanna do ALL the trickertreets and we likely will.
Pumpkins shall be slaughtered! Superman and Supergirl will bathe in the glorious orange goop!

And I'm also gonna do some much needed stuff on the truck.

Ordered some various seals for the cap. Got a Pop n Lock for $65 and backup camera for $46. Need to shit and get off the fog light pot and get them in. See about lighting inside the cap, finally wire the rear-side lights, may even add fender well lights.

 

At least you'll get the green trail fix you're missing out on the next weekend at the sfwda meet!

Found some bark or something tree-like shoved into the rim of one of the km2s when swapping on the bb tars. My guess is that one will lose a bead first.

Sad about missing BM. Not sad about missing the wet and cold, though. Quite pleasant, in comparison, 3 hours north of there.
Didn't go to any parties. Instead, the weekend was about the kids. They had a BLAST! I did too. Pumpkins were gutted, brutal! Went to a wedding yesterday. Not having a fall outdoor wedding, NEGA-TIVE!

Had enough time, 20 minutes, to install the Pop n Lock and Camera. Took longer taking off the Mobtown gate skin than installing.
The lock is perfect! The camera is perfect!

It was pretty fuzzy on my end, just a hair out of focus. Google Photos' built-in edit stuff made it look even worse too, overdone.
But you aren't wrong. Crawling over that tree was sweet, surprised myself I did it, with everything being totally drenched n all.

I feel like the first one has better all around subject matter. Second one is a dusty and smokey shitshow of 4 banger attitude!

I dont disagree. All 3 were taken when it was pretty dark. My old camera cant keep up when the sun starts to drop.
