Ok. So this random info / opinion bomb of rambles stop. Here.

It was addressing another issue. But is a good snippet. You can counter this in your case by fully flexing it out and figuring out what new size bump stop you need

I ran a spacer lift for around 20,000 miles and never had a problem. If you have the yellow TRD/bilstein shocks I definitely wouldn't recommend running a spacer on them, they love to break at the weld below the spring seat. However the black toyota oem front coilovers seem to be decent. Contrary to what this forum will tell you, running a spacer isn't the end of the world. Make sure everything is torqued correctly is the main thing. After spacer lift I upgraded to a Total Chaos +3.5 race kit with icons all the way around. I still run small blocks in the rear.

Probably because more people buy spacer lifts because it’s cheap lift. If they had the money to replace shocks.. they’d probably not buy a spacer lift to begin with.

Any shock can break, they’re not as strong as the rest of the truck is.

I am a notable bilstein hater, and bilstein made the yellow ones which is why they're garbage (in my opinion)

Bilstiens and add-a-leaf. Or an old man emu set if you want more.

Also the back will be depending on the pack...so how you did it will vary what you get.

If you want more or less lift change the length of the shackles. Don't go crazy but a little longer shackle will get you the lift you want, after upgrading the leaf springs of course.

If you do a block lift it will degrade your suspension travel and put more wear on the suspension.

It is your truck so research and do what you think is best for you.

I lifted a 2001 Tacoma with a spacer and it was nothing but issues. CV boots were popping open left and right. It's a bad idea but I guess I'll F off. You won't last here long with your attitude. No need to tell people to F off.

how dare you have an opinion!! I too ran a spacer lift at one time and smartly swapped to adjustable coilovers, but I'm going to F off too.
