Hey @ajohnson I got lost in your hood yesterday, when did they turn that "do it yourself" carwash into a Jiffylube?
I went to spray off the deer from the front of my truck and got confused... took the next right and ended up on Scalybark..

 

Not that's legal, further out is some fire roads around Boone/Hickory

 

Hell I haven't been by there in a while, I didn't even know it was a Jiffy Lube now. I live a little further down off Seneca now.

 

There are some very tempting construction sites on 150 out towards Sherrils Ford.

 

Someone I know selling a shell. Will give a good deal. 1st gen I think.

Anyone else have to change the alternator in their Taco? 140,000 miles and toast!

 

Where do you guys get inspected around here? Sounds like this area is pretty strict on tint.

So the damn torx bit spun out entirely. I’m assuming that either it’s been replaced before and someone cross threaded the bolt or it was cross threaded from the factory. Any ideas on how I can get this damn seat belt assembly bolt out?

 

Oh and for what it’s worth that Dewalt didn’t even spin that bolt a quarter of a turn. I can’t figure out why this thing is so damn stubborn or why on earth they’d use a t50 head instead of a traditional bolt.

 

You gotta know people.

Looking for a good place to do some camping/overlanding within ~2 hours drive south of Charlotte. Nothing too dangerous/technical. What trails or routes are good?

 

Not much south of Charlotte. Uwharrie to the east. Gulches to the SW. URE is more spread out, where gulches is a compact offroad park

 

Does the bolt go all the way through to the outside if so hit it with some PB blaster from the outside. So that people don't fuck with the seat belts. Seat belt torque tie in location is pretty stringent for crash ratings.
