That would be the best idea. Somehow indicate the jacket and pins are in memory of your friend. If any has concerns you can tell them about him and his service. I have my grandfather's pilot wings and patches from my wife's great Uncle, and I consider it an honor to wear them. In this way, they will always live on.

My Dad was a WWII/Korea /Viet Nam vet, 35 years USAAF-USAF, I have several USAF hats that I wear to functions down at the Warbird Museum, if questioned I wear them in memory of my Dad, MY hero! The ones that say vet or retired or stuff like that I won't wear, but I do have some of Dad's campaign pins on the other hats.

If you haven't done so yet ask parents or grandparent now about their service before the history is gone forever, we are losing the "Greatest Generation" in hoards right now, all that knowledge and history gone in an instant!!

I got Grandpa's pictures / letters / booklets / etc. from his days in the Army, including his 3 years in the South Pacific. I've scanned most if not all of the pics, and I still have to get to the other stuff. I think my Afghanistan vet cousin got all his other goods. Many cool pics, although one of the coolest is when a different company was marching past where his company was camped - and he saw his brother whom he hadn't seen in a few years, since enlisting. Totally random meeting. They're sitting on grandpa's off-roader.

Another shot of what they used to go "wheeling" in the Philippines.

Can those wheels fit a first-gen with 2" lift? Asking for a friend.

:woot:Evening everyone, well the weather just sucks, cold and rain. It’s going to be tough to get my to-do’s done, but I will push through. Bill I read your post, sucks but you seem to have a good attitude, hang in there. Pot has helped a good friend of mine deal with a fused broken back, hell of a lot better than conventional pain meds. Hopefully you can get some alternate meds. ITS FRIDAY

    I doubt it.
Took a year last time and lasted less than 3 hours total time.
Was suppose to have 60 more hp than before which would have required a gear change.
Nope felt the same and was slightly slower.

Just checked the valves after the last dyno run and they said it was all set to drop and go.
    Yeup every valve was tight.
So there is a harmonic or dynamic issue with this engine I think which could have a reoccurrence.

So we will see next year...

Much depends on the date of manufacture. Could be as simple as switching jumpers within. Could also be more involved. Nameplate on machines should specify.

A friend of mine gave me a good tip on how to make your Halloween candy last longer.
Just don't hand any out, save it ALL for yourself.

Kind of what I thought, most of his stuff looks newer then 1980 except one power hammer lol he is in for a shock when he prices one here. The size he has 20k plus new and used is almost unobtainium. Thanks for the insight, it will be awhile before he gets here lol I will post up any video he does once he finds out how much setting up shop here costs.

20k? Heck you could buy new drive motors, change contactors and control transformers and be WAY ahead of the game. Throw in a prox sensor or three..

So are you the kindhearted soul that greats the kids with candy or the guy with the gruesome fake blood and a growl that only gives candy to the ones who don't run in fear?
