Just ordered a set of 265/75/16 can’t wait to slap these on! Got some Mickey Thompson classic 3s to go with them. So stoked.

Replaced my AT3W Wildpeaks with ST Maxx's. They behave on road SO much better than the Falken's and are a lot quieter (the Falken's got louder over time). Off-road, it's not even a fair apples to apples comparison - the ST Maxx's are a much more aggressive and capable tire. Can't wait to see how these baby's perform in snow!

Looked like it....I've got 285/75r16 STT PRO's now. MAY downsize OR go to more of an A/T tire next swap. May stay with PRO's...Who knows.

I was on the fence with Pros vs Maxx's. Clearly the Pros are going to outperform the Maxx's off-road and look a lot cooler doing it, but my truck is a weekend warrior and sees more pavement than I care to admit. Figured the Pros would be overkill for me.

Size-wise, I don't think I'll ever go back to a 265. I'd consider 255/85, but cost-wise they seem to be more expensive than 285/75. Plus, I like the extra ~1" of ground clearance and the performance impacts are marginal at best. I lost 2-3 MPGs (probably less if I baby her).

I've done 2 sets of PRO's now. Getting 45K before selling them (still good enough to sell) A couple friends run the MAXX's. They get about 7500 miles more wear. I street drive mine a LOT, but love the extra "dig" off road. In all likelihood, I'll do a 3rd set of PRO's.

I’ve had both the AT3 and ST MAXX in the 265/75. It’s by far my favorite tire I’ve ever ran. For daily only it’s a little heavy, but if you rotate regularly, you should get really good wear and mileage out of them. I got them because I was wanting a more aggressive tire that would do better when off-road, and at the time Cooper didn’t have any thing other than the regular AT3. Now they have a new version of the AT3 that is more beefed up you could look at. I’d check Discount Tire Direct and eBay for specials. I know as of the other day people were getting a $70 rebate plus $100 off $400.

Our St Maxx 255/80/17’s handled AOAA pretty darn good granted we were only on greens and blues but they dud it all. Aired down to 20psi and did great in deeper water, mud, and rocks
