How does it hold up to wear and tear? Oil/dirt? I just ordered the tailgate only piece to see what it's like before I invest in the whole bed.

I'm interested in getting mine bedlined, I don't like bedmats or the stock composite material.

Rhino liner on a extremely durable 100% synthetic bed that cannot rust? Did you cover your seats with clear plastic protectors ? It also looks like they sprayed inside and outside the bed rails??

It all depends on each owner preference or use.
My mat stays in all the time.

The rails were removed to spray, the bed was done professionally. I hated the slick as snot plastic bed and didnt want a bed mat.
-Also had a "your mom riding/seat cover joke" but i'll refrain LOL

the bed mat I got was one of the best investments I made for less than 100 bucs since it keeps everything from sliding around...

Lol. I bet. My dogs would be ice skating back there without that mat.

For real. Best first 100 bucks you can put in the truck.

+1 for the bed mat. They should come with the truck honestly.

I like 1/2 sheathing rated plywood.
I think the bed mat is a little too 'grabby', nothing is way too slick.

Plywood is a nice compromise. And helps spread load a little bit too

It is also much stronger than a metal bed or any liner.

Quite well. Deer blood and guts, dirt, mulch, etc all just wash out. I usually combo clean with a leaf blower and a hose and then let it air out for a while. It's similar to carpeting used in marine applications, albeit much thicker and padded here though, whereas liquids will pass through if soaked. Most of it just rolls off the top with some help. Dog hair is the only really PITA, but a shop vac gets rid of it...if you're OCD like me and care.

Like I said, third straight truck with it. Wouldn't go any other way.

Like everyone says. Get the OEM mat and call it a day. I personally never take the mat out unless it is to clean out debris. The OEM mat is thick, grippy, and keeps the bed from getting scratches (although most often it is the bed that does the scratching).

Also. You can replace the OEM compartments with metal locking boxes. One of mine is AR plate.

There were a few members that had theirs sprayed with line-x and rhino liner about a year and a half ago. I cant find the exact thread but there was some pretty intense prep-work if I recall. I'd look up 2nd gens that have been sprayed to see how it holds up long term or if it starts peeling. I know Line-x sticks really damn well but i know composites can be very difficult to bond too so there could be adhesion failure in a few years especially with heavy use.

You can install d rings in the bed bolts and cut some slits in the bed mat and put them through when needed.
