Just found a very cool stock stereo bluetooth interface. I have been looking for a way to bluetooth to my stereo without a transmitter (radio transmitters sound quality is poor at best). This interface works with your steering wheel controls and stereo's controls (skip, shuffle and calls)! I'll report back after the install and provide a review.

    workin' on it.
    Did you install? Like?

Also, I heard there is an "annoying" CONNECTED sound every time it connects when you get in your vehicle:
    1. Is that true?
    2. Can you disable it?

A few months ago I bought a 2008 Taco that came with a GTA Bluetooth CarKit installed. I use it for listening to music via Spotify and for that purpose it works fine. I've also used the iPhone call function, although not often. If you want to keep the stock HU the GTA seems a great option in my opinion. My truck came with the JBL system and I'm thinking of replacing it entirely, if so the GTA will come out too.

As for a beep on start-up, yes it does. I can't imagine considering it an annoyance worthy of complaint.
