Their site says made in N. America, not USA. Interesting though..price isn't bad. Although all these trax boards are overpriced IMO.

Would you happen to have photos of two or more stacked on top of one another? I'm curious on the height of them when stored on a rack. Thanks!

Hey! These ActionTrax are approximately 3.5" when two are stacked together. ActionTrax is currently working on a mount, but the MaxTrax (or generic) mounts will work for these in the meantime. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Price point is pretty high still with only a two year warranty, Treds offers lifetime warranty no matter what breaks and no matter for how long.

True, but the 1100s break a lot and usually on the first use.

Id second this, I know you say 3.5'' but a visual would be great, and if possible x4 stacked on top of each other, maybe next to something like a soda can for scale

This. Warranty is a big selling point when forking over the same amount for a competitive product that has a lifetime warranty.

Chimming in a little late but I just discovered these ActionTrax boards. Been researching the Treks and Maxtracs. Both seem to have tan and or red models. Can't seem to find those colors in the ActionTrax branded ones. Do they not make them? :(

I just bought a set of X-Bull from eBay. But this is tempting. It's just a high price for a low warranty.

Picked up some Go Treds at the overland expo for $100 a pair. They are covered for life and super sturdy. They are the only traction boards out there that is under contract with the US military and the DOD

I still think its interesting this company just ripped off maxtrax. Usually if you rip off a company you better have a better price tag. Its worth the extra 45 dollars to pay a company that came up with their own design and have been around for years. This is promoting stealing someones idea. I dont care that it is made in the USA when its a stolen idea... which i think defeats the purpose.

It's a tricky situation because it can then be argued that whoever first started making steel front and rear bumpers for Tacomas should be the sole manufacturers of that type of bumper since everyone else is basically stealing their idea. Usually companies have to add their own changes or "improvements" to make theirs different and set them apart from the rest. Which in this case they have. If it is an exact copy then I would agree wholeheartedly with you.

    Or like skid plates

    Or rock sliders

    Or roof racks.

I see what you are saying... tred changed their design to make their own... actiontrax stole their name and their exact look. They added some jagged edges but copied everything else.

@MAXTRAX what do you think of this "off shoot"? Are they they truly different or an exact copy, minus the goofy teeth?
