    His shop big equipment consists of a a J Head Bridgeport, Colchester Student Lathe, Full Size Surface Grinder AJAX , Sahindler Power Hammer, Pilkington Hammer both are over 40 years it appears. Add in some smaller machines that aren't cheap 2 Inch belt sanders, bench grinders etc etc . I do not know shipping costs but years ago a standard container shipped From Austin TX to the UK was about 10 K with rental of container. Some how he figures he is going to replace all of the machines and set up shop , he would need to buy a vehicle , rent a shop / place to live and so on with out going broke ... lol I know he has made and is making money from merchandising , pieces he made being sold and what ever he makes from youtube monetization . But I can not wrap my head around how much this would cost. He is a young kid and an excellent smith no doubt about it but he also just moved from his first shop to the one he is in now 18 months ago . Spent a ton of money upgrading electrical and internet , camera stuff etc doing that.

    The long an short of it is this is just for conversation how the hell does someone who is not even 21 yet get to where they can do this ??? LOL I heard from another smith that Dad and Mom bought some of his original equipment but still lol

    He was so excited about my truck. Finally I just had to say that I needed to get to work.
