I've been reading this Forum for a while now. Typically when i need help, so thanks for all the past help and advice. I do have a question. What is the electrical connection that is bolted to the battery hold down under the battery? You can't see it unless you remove the battery. The harness runs under the fuse block and ties into the harness that runs along the fender. What ever it is, Mine is really nasty and the connector is buggered up. Any ideas? 1999 3.4 2wd extended cab. Thanks!

That's what caused the Three Mile Island Nuclear melt down.

Run for the hills, Spray her down with WD-40

It appears to be a relay, and a testament to how well built this now nineteen year old truck is built, Is there anything electrical on this truck thats not working as it should ? dim or flickering lights? I would put everything back together, clean every thing as best I could with baking soda ( I use Arm and Hammer, its cheep and plentiful) and distilled water, blow dry everything, take care to keep moisture out of the relay, with a new battery tray and try a tap test and see what, if anything fails / flickers, if everything is good Togo seal everything up with an Aerosol of your choice. that relay must be on the body harness schematic.
