    Anyone know of build thread rules? Thinking about restoring my 93 back to original. And doing a thread about it.

    I'm still around here. Peeking in every once in a while. Just stopped at the bank and paid off the last $1500 on it. She's all mine now.

    Does the new Chevy commercial bother anyone but me? They don’t even mention Toyota in the reliability category? Is it because they are afraid?

    There’s a limited amount of Big Mouth episodes, and let’s face it I just can’t drink like I used to. I need something to do. It needs to happen before MN deer hunting or we are F’d.

    Just got back from north shore trip with the wife. We woke up to snow and windchills in the teens lol. Let's just say Jo is not a fan of cold camping, so we came back a day early. She hiked Eagle mtn Friday though.

    That’s a surprisingly difficult hike. The trail was as tough as the Bighorns without the altitude. Well we’ll just have to look forward to Black Friday.

    So you put an AAL in the Dakar pack? Haven't heard of this before. Details?

    Darkar packs have three levels.

    Light duty = -#3 leaf
    Standard = no change
    Heavy duty = +extra #3 leaf

    This is the extra leaf to make the “heavy duty” leaf pack. The earlier packs use the D29XL leaf. Unloaded it gave about 1-1.25” lift over the standard Dakar. I tried them out for our last trip to MT/WY/ID. They were perfect with the fully loaded truck for a net lift of about “1 over stock to match my Bilatein/TRD 650lb front... but a bit much for the unladen minimal lift that I use the rest of the 49wks/yr. I am bagging the rear so I don’t need them anymore.

    Haven't seen the new Chevy commercial, I don't really watch TV too much. I did see the new Ford commercial taking a stab at Elon Musk though!

    Would anyone have any interest in doing a long weekend camping/fishing/golfing trip this spring or early summer?

    Just fine with me. I'm not much of a golfer myself, but I do like to go out and swing a club every once in a while. There's a campground that I've been going to for a few years up on lake vermillion that is really nice. The fishing is usually pretty good too. Of course we could always do something a little bit closer to the cities too.
