found a lift kit local to me. The Toyota game is a whole new thing to me do I figured I would check here before I go jumping on this. This kit came up for sale for 600 bucks and it’s coming off a 08 Tacoma. Owner claims it’s compatiable with the 16 Tacoma. Can anyone Id the kit so I can do a little more research into. So far I’ve found part of the kit on all pro stating by the upper and lower control arms.

That’s a Frankenlift if I’ve ever seen one. It looks like an all pro +2 LT kit mixed with a coil over spacer adapter and a drop bracket lift by pro comp.

Why would you want to install a bucket of rust on a new truck?

Basically seems as if he bought the truck used as a beater blew it up or something and doesn’t know what he has. Could be completely wrong I had asked him if it included uppers lowers shocks leaf pack and basically everything associated with the lift and he told me to come take a look. Didn’t know if it was even worth bothering with seeing as it’s about a 2hr drive to check this lift out. And wanted to see what you guys thought it might be worth

My thoughts exactly. Buy once cry once. Save for what you want and get something that isn’t gonna fall apart right after you install it

I wanted to see if it could possibly be overhauled or if it was even worth the time to be honest.

Trucks a 08 so I’m assuming it’s a 2nd gen correct. I checked the part numbers or the lower and upper for both gens and from what I see there the same

I wouldn't put those on an 05 tacoma, they belong in a scrap bin.

The problem is that those parts aren’t even supposed to go together. It’s an LT kit and a drop bracket lift mixed together. If someone had those installed on the truck together it would have me worried. Those aren’t meant to be mixed together
