Light and patchy but definitely rain

 

An waxed... I did do a rain dance though, no rain in my parts of Canadian Texas.

 

Watched Anthony Bourdane’s program on Texas last night & he never Toured that part. But once I get down there, things may change.

 

When you get this way I'll show or recommend worthwhile places in my area..it's not much ATX, SATX, DFW an HTX an the coast are happening places..I like East Texas also..don't waste your time seeing the "silos" new Baylor stadium is cool...now food on the other hand quite a bit.

Ladies and gentlemen of the Texas Toyota Coalition Family, this is our final member raffle of the year & could potentially be our LAST RAFFLE EVER! (more on that next month)

How to sign up for the raffle in advance (we will also have tickets available at the meet, this is mostly for non-attending members that would like a chance to win some great prizes)

1. Send me a PM titled "Nov Raffle"
2. Include how many tickets you would like and if you will be attending or not
3. Send funds via PayPal (friends and family please) to texastoyotacoalition@gmail.com
4. Include in the PayPal notes your full name and if you will be attending or not (this may be redundant, but it all helps me keep track of this in detail)

That's it! You're done! I will process those requests and write your name & member # on each and every ticket you paid for.

After good wash I spray down with lucas fast wax an wipe clean then used a buffer with mothers.

 

Not this time but could use one.

I do....I have a clay bar specifically for my windows. More so the windshield.

 

Never heard of that for the windows either licked clean while wearing a helmet but prefer mcquires glass wipes they work really good. I'm still a total newb to detailing type work but perhaps @bluerado15 or @ChadsPride can give you some real pro tips.

 

Clay is fine on glass. Just be sure to use enough spray to the clay doesn't streak. I also hear fine steel wool works well.

I use mothers gold carnuba on my glass. Havnt tried clay on glass yet, just what I hear.

Much better IMO. I've used every protect they have to offer and I don't think it A) last as long as a true wax B) works as well as a true paste wax

 

No, not for regular wax. Maybe some of the newer polishes and nano-BS, but nadda on the older stuff, unless it has some cleaners in it, and I wouldn't use a cleaner wax for that since you don't know if it's too aggressive.

 

Dunno if it is really a good idea or not, but I used some glass stovetop cleaner, the thick liquid kind, on the windscreen of the 370z and it came out cleaner than any wash or windex job I've ever done. *side note* this will also remove rain-x
