Why put the panel on top of the prinsu rack? If you pull those cross beams, the panel will actually sink down into the rack, giving you the same amount of sun exposure with the added benefit of not being up high and exposed.

Well I didn't do anything today to it but drive to work...what a difference...like night and day. Saturday I took it in for its' 5,000 mile tire rotation and balance and informed the writer at that time that the truck has some infrequent hesitation in 4th/5th gear.I've used nothing but 87 octane from the beginning so they flashed the ECU and downloaded TSB 0058-18. Throttle response is much crisper and she leaves from a dead stop without any hesitation. The shift points are now at higher RPM's (more like a truck should be) and it appears that fuel mileage will suffer maybe 1-2MPG but I believe that will be acceptable...time will tell but I'm liking it so far.

Picked her up a few weeks ago with a whopping 7 miles. Been raining in Texas for a good amount of time, so it only fits to have a rainy picture.AB14D7A9-F72E-46F0-A5E0-6553FB7D1D89.jpg

Completed my new toned down graphics and badging. I wanted something that was much more subtle than the stock chrome and high contrast decals, but wasn't the complete debadged look:

I'm not sure if I understand what you mean. the attachment points for that panel are underneath it -- I actually had to remove the crossbars to mount the panel to the bars, then mount the bars to the rack. I thought about angling it towards the front to see if it would be more aerodynamic but decided not to.

With those panels you can just remove the cross bars and go from the side of the Prinsu rack directly into the panel. It allows it to sit beneath the lip of the rack, and keeps it protected while still offering storage.

Clever, I like it. I may do that and drill right into the panel. Thanks for the idea!
