    Hi All,

    I bought some fancy Philips Xtremevision H11's only to discover I had the H16 housing. I could try trimming the bulbs but thought I'd first check to see what halogen bulbs people have tried int he H16 housings with success.

    My only concern is the plastic may be weaker than the H11 housings and the additional wattage may cause melting. I still need to check which fuse I have for my fog lights right now.

    H16=19W Osram bulb stock
    H11=55W Typical

    Well it's a 15A fuse, which doesn't tell me anything as there is no way you could run a bulb that high of wattage.

    I was a little confused about this. Do the ORs come with H11 fogs and the Sport comes with H16?

    I’m almost sure the sr5 and limited have h16 and the off road have h11 (I’m not sure about the sport)

    Mine is a sport and has the H16, but I'm also in Canada which may screw things up a bit.

    I believe all the 3rd Gen TRD trucks come with the wide angle H11 fogs.

    Yeah Canadian models only specified with/without fog lights, not what type.

    I'd look to buy some OEM wide angle units off someone on the forum in the marketplace section, they are sold pretty regularly as people change bumpers or swap to LEDs. The wide angle units look to have a side projection angle of 75 degrees.

    What did you end up doing? I have the same problem on my SR5. I cannot get the H11 to fit and I think it would melt the plastic lens.

    In canada all tacos come with garbage h16 bulbs, h11s do not fit.
