I have these on my wish list next, but havent read back a few pages. I have Dakar HD with the extra AAL, and B110s. Will I still be able to flex?

I want to get the 3.6 shackle and cross bar. Still possible? I was reading that the shackle wasnt advised with Dakars

    Pic for attention:

That was the old 3.6 shackle I had, the new ones are designed for Dakars.
Plenty of people with HD Dakars getting down

I have the Gen1 hangers with the early 4.9 option (future SUA) and it pairs wonderfully with my medium dakars. If I hadnt of optioned shackles, I definitely would have gained lift out of the rear, probably too much. I also have better droop travel.

Which brings me to say, the increase in ride quality is amazing with the hammer hangers. You feel how cleanly the suspension is working now. I'm very happy with my purchase. And that archive badge is sexy. :fistbump:

Very obvious. It really sorts out the rear end and makes it feel like gliding on pavement.

Do you know what your bump travel is? I have always been concerned that the 4.9” would cause me to loose too much bump travel.

In case you missed this from post#1, just a handful from hundreds of satisfied customers

    Ride Quality Improvement Feedback:

"After about 2k miles of which 500 was on some of the roughest roads I've been on, I can say that I'm super impressed with these!" (OME Dakars)

"I have to say it is pretty crazy how it changes the ride quality! It is AWESOME" (AP expo)

    "cushy" (Deaver expo U402)

    "What a difference" (AP expo)

    "Smooth...less sway" (OME Dakars)

"Just from driving on the street I can immediately tell the improvement in ride quality. Its the real deal guys!" (OME Dakars)

"I was not prepared for such a dramatic change in ride quality after the install. If you haven't already read up on his hangers, I'd highly recommend them" (Icon RXT)

"I bought a pair of Eric's shackle hangers and they are AWESOME. Completely changed the feeling of the truck...the stock springs that everyone bemoans are totally transformed when their anchors are not flapping like a screen door in a stiff breeze." (Stock springs, 2016 AC)

Like from ride height to bump? Or travel throughout the bump? Honestly my ride height didn't change and I'm on stock bumps for now so I didn't lose uptravel, just increased droop now that the shackle can rotate at better angles with my specific leaf pack. I don't understand the question. My understanding of bump travel has always been that it's the zone of travel that your bumpstops use before bottoming out. Stock bumps have little to no give to them so I didn't lose any bump travel and Uptravel remained the same. I haven't cycled the suspension but I'm still at stock shock location as well, so the bumps will bottom out at the same place as stock.

He thought the older 4.9" would lower the truck but it keeps it at near same ride height with Dakars as stock hangers with stock shackles.
The HH and stock shackles used to lift up to 3/4" with shorty Dakars.

Newer version HH lift less with stock shackles like ~3/8.
New version HH with 4.5" shackles should be same as old version with 4.9"

Going forward with new version HH and spring over axle, I'd recommend the stock shackles or the 3.6" I offer. There is less lift from HH so 4.5" shackles probably will lower some trucks SLIGHTLY versus stock hanger, like 1/4".
