Aerospace 303 is also a great product for interior panels...

I also think its from some funky lotion or body chemistry. I once worked with another ranger that would only be assigned the garbage trucks for work duty because his sweat was paint remover! Seriously, every truck he ever put his arm on the windowsill with had no paint there, only bare metal.

Any chance it was "bug spray".... Some of them have a lot of DEET. That shit "melts" plastic.....

    Good luck.

This ^ Could be an excellent explanation. I used to work at a plastic molding company years ago & used a paint gun to spray release into a mold. Sometimes it got a sprayed on a lil heavy in areas.

I feel like this issue should be on Toyota. It's a serious eye sore & we shouldn't have to pay for replacements!

Yes, this was the tundra post I found when first looked this up. I brought it up to my local dealer. There first response was “We don’t go by what’s posted on forums.” Second response was “It’s an outside influence like warping the panels by pulling them off.”

I’m going to take my car to a different dealer for my 35k and see if they’re more consumer friendly.

I will second Lucas products. Their quick detailer and interior detailer have worked well for me over the course of several vehicles. I just get mine at Autozone.

Update on my issue. 2nd dealer said they won’t be able to replace under warranty and that I should try getting with Toyota directly. Their response was that they don’t know what caused it, but that they haven’t seen a panel change without outside influence of some sort.

I’ll be following up with Big Toyota next week and keep everyone posted.

Have you been giving the Hulk rides? He's been known to leave green marks all over the place.

When you're done, i'd be sure to write a great review for the dealer that denied your warranty without so much as looking into the issue.

Out of curiosity I wonder if any green is showing anywhere on the back side of the panel.
I seriously doubt any chemical would leech through from the interior to the back part.
If it is green on the inside, I think you win. Especially if it is in different areas on each side. Pop the panel off and look.
You don't even have to take the whole panel off. Just remove a few screws in the handle, pop off the bottom and tilt out using an inspection mirror and light to peek.
There is a procedure in here for speaker changing.

I think whoever mentioned sunscreen nailed it.
I couldn't count the number of people I've seen using vehicle doors as cover while spraying down in sunblock.
All those marks look like spray/ overspray.

Yeah. I'm curious about what bottle was sitting in the door where it's really green.

    This, on so many levels.

If you guys have never heard of Norwex, I highly recommend you get a few of their towels. They clean so well, are anti-bacterial, and you only use water with them. My interior always looks amazing since I started using them.

Go with 303 aerospace. Used on boats and wont leave a greasy finish. Used on anything black on the truck. Interior and exterior. Will prolong life of wipers and any rubber product
