They're Kendas. Not exactly sure which ones the previous owner put on but they have good tread left and seem to perform well for the short time I've rode it.

Here’s a better pic of mine. I’ve done nothing major, just the handlebars, exhaust, tech spec tank grips and michelin power pures.

Sold mine about 3 months ago. Good fun. Not practical for anything but causing trouble with not enough power to get away when the cops show up.

And don't buy one expecting to make it "fast". The only thing fast is your bank account drain.

Former grom owner. May be buying 2 when I move to Colorado. Hypermotard took the groms place. Super fun little bike.

I was thinking about a Grom or the Kymco Spade. Still trying to decide.

Wife and I each have a Grom. Mine's a 2015, hers a 2018. They're both pretty stock so far, just aftermarket exhausts, rear fender eliminators, etc.
Next I'd like to change the color of mine(bought it used, and it's yellow which isn't my thing) as well as a fork rebuild. I think I may need my dealer to check out the trans too, does a weird skip every so often when cruising in 3rd and sometimes doesnt want to shift up to 3rd smoothly.

They're a blast. Way more fun then 8hp should be!

I have posted this up here before, but I sold my Grom a few weeks before buying the Tacoma. I had far more fun building it than riding alone. If I was going to do it again, I would change the tires, exhaust, and front sprocket and call it a day.

Honda Ruckus headlight with some metal screens. I think it was a Mini Moto Lab kit for the brackets that I cut up and modified a bit too. Custom specified the Corbin seat, and the brown Oury grips were not the easiest to get.

The Grom was really kitted out with some parts that you don’t see unless you were in person. Ohlins suspension front and rear, custom tons of stuff, modified a bunch of the custom parts before install. Also some stuff that turned out to be rare or hard to find. The rear adjusters were from some company in Europe, some subtle carbon bits. Even the oil fill cap was a Coke bottle cap from Thailand as a throwback to the country of origin etc.

This makes me want to try to stuff an LP6 into a '14 headlight housing.

If the LP6 was available at the time, I would have gone that route. The LP9 is way overkill.. but I like it:D
