I am in the market to replace my stock head unit in my 2012 prerunner DCSB (it is giving me troubles) I am looking to have 4 things really. GPS, Bluetooth, XM and to use my steering wheel controls. I know that in order to use the steering wheel controls I will have to get an adapter for it. I am not looking to spen an arm and a leg. Preferably to stay under 350 to 400. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have seen some posts about android auto as well, does anyone have any experience with the app? I want to never have to touch my phone while im in my truck if I can get that with android auto than thats better.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, Thanks

If you want true GPS, in a good brand (pioneer, kenwood, not those god awful Chinese pieces of garbage) then you're not getting below about $500 for just the radio, if you catch it on sale. Pioneer 5201 is about the cheapest you can get with true gps. but it only supports apple CarPlay, not android auto.

To get nav and android auto, you're probably going to hit 600. Kenwood 574S is a good one

    Then parts.

you'll need the SXV300 XM tuner ($40 on sale)
    mounting kit
wiring harness (this can be as cheap as $5 if you dont have JBL, or as high as $250 if you do have JBL)
steering wheel control module (included with the JBL harness, but $70ish without)
