Moved on from my 1995 F150 4x4 to a more manageable Tacoma this weekend. I'm super excited and have been pouring over these forums to learn all about my truck. I'll edit in a pic later, but it's an extended cab pearl impulse red 4x4.

I'm a newb so can't post on buy/sale yet, but I do want all the bits to replace my front sway bar that the PO removed.

Also, I'm guessing the truck has been lifted before and had larger tires. The pinch weld is untouched but the bottom 8 inches or so have been hammered flat. PO just replaced the coil springs with new stock springs. And the leafs are connected to..what is this? I'm guessing it is not stock and I'd appreciate any opinions along the lines of "do I want to keep this or get the stock piece?"

DD, mild pavement princess, rare towing but should be able to take me fishing any where in the Rockies that I might fancy.

Thanks all for the warm welcomes! Pic of the little beast below. Step 1, waiting on my new head unit and swapping my Blaupunkt and Kicker speakers from the Ford to the Tacoma. Cleaning, making notes, grinning like a little kid driving it around. I'm an older dude and think back to 2001 (was it really that long ago?) and how I coulda shoulda bought one new. Oh, hindsight.

Got pix of the 99, Toyochick?

That's a lift shackle. Nothing wrong with having it. Its only giving maybe 1" of lift on that setting. Id leave it in:)
