Basically a converter that would go from the bag attachment to the shop vac hose? I'd need to know how the bag connection looks and what hose diameter yours is

Or you do what I did and have your wife hold the vacuum hose as close to the sander as you can :)

Cool, I'll pull it out of the box when I get home.

It's a 1 7/8 hose. Not sure on female dia vs Male though.

Exactly like that, except mine is Milwaukee.
Dug through that site the other day, looking for an adapter. No luck

@Chasespeed, make sure you put in a HEPA filter in the shop vac as that ol' house certainly has lead paint. If you find you have a sweet taste when you're sanding, you're exposing yourself and anyone else in the area to lead dust.

Yep. Have a HEPA, and using a filter bag well.

Did but of chemical stripping first. Just is just to smooth stuff, and she wants to try something on one of the floors before I have them torn up.....

    Thanks

Morning all. Supposed to be a 'wintry mix' tonight instead of just plain rain. Ground's not frozen yet, though, so it's still just going to melt when it lands. :notsure:

Of course, everybody will still forget how to drive overnight.

    Morning.

Saturday I went over my brother's house and was playing with his two walking petri dishes. Later on he told me they both had ear infections; awesome. So naturally this morning I woke up with a sore throat. Looks like I'll be having my first hot toddy of the season tonight to nip this thing in bud.

I love this move. I have a sister who is all about #1 and will have kids puking and still bring them all over to a family event, or invite everyone to her house while they are sick...which has multiple times resulted in 20+ people puking and shitting their brains out.

I won't go over there anymore without asking around if any of her kids have been sick lately.

nope i already did that, couple small warranty type things and ask them to check the brakes/bearings which im sure are good but just so i can be prepared for next season. Once i get it home, wash it all, plug her back in, and throw the cover back on.

Finally got the wheel bearing replaced yesterday and realized I'm an idiot...I think it started hearing it around the time I got my tires last year (which seems like a long time to be driving on a bad bearing) and attributed it to tacomas not having the quietest interior and just normal A/T noise on the highway...night and day difference now. Getting the truck coated with NH Oil today and picking up my SOS skid in Lebanon tomorrow morning. Didn't realize Fastenal wouldn't deliver to my work and have to pick it up at their location at least now I know for when I order my sliders.
