Nothing like a pretty ride that challenges your skills a bit - nice!

 

Yea, that's what we did, one of our member's kids were going on vacation somewhere, we rented their house for the week!! Great people, fantastic house, great week.. And best part is, I got about 26Hrs from the radio operators position on our Normandy Vet C-47 the "Tico Belle"!! Got to do some formation flying practice while we were there too..

 

I haven't been to EAA in years, but I always enjoy watching the planes fly over. My wife is amazed that I know when P51 Mustangs are flying over just by the sound of the engine.

 

Hope you all got copies of the tickets and some kind of written agreement, so the holder doesn't claim it's his ticket. Good luck.

Yea, a few planes you can't mistake!! The P-51 is one of them, just wait till Tom Reilly get's this beast in the air, it will be in stereo!!



It will be the only XP-82 flying in the world..

I'm right under the Military flight path of all the Military bases up here in the High Desert . Whenever I hear a CH 53 Helicopter , AH 1 Cobra or UH 1 Helicopter I look up towards the sky

At my AO 0831 hrs 57° clear skies and high temp of 77° today

Rascal and Gizmo are missing there Sister Snickers with an occasional loud meow but they're adjusting better than I thought . Gizmo even surprised me last night when I went to bed !!! . He actually crawled under the covers and slept next to me for a couple hrs , he's never done that before !!

 

They know Chuck, they since what your feeling and will make up for the loss... Corey did the same thing, I didn't think he'd ever been the quality dog that the other two were, but turns out he was a pretty good little guy..

Hello all. Back safe at home, we had a great trip, 200 miles on dirt. Awesome time and the trucks did well.

Salt tram, we stayed up the the first night, still had reception.

 

Busy as hell today. There was a rumor going around about a vacation.


Dry goods packed. Kitchen kit ready. Drinks bought. Camping gear all in one spot. Firewood gathered.

EVERYONE BRING SOME FIREWOOD.

We'll load it all tomorrow afternoon. Dog (just one now) to kennel. Expect to leave 9ish.

Evening everyone,another beautiful weather day at work. Everyone has the lottery fever, me included. I always laugh when it gets this high. I usually play every week, fill truck with gas and use the change on tickets. This way I don’t feel like I’m wasting money, which I am. People less likely to play when it’s only a few million, but go nuts when it’s a gillzon. I can get by on a couple million.

 

Yeah, I'm gonna swing by my favorite liquor store for some beer and some tix after work tonight.

It's a nice fantasy, that's for sure. I usually wait until at least the day after the drawing to check the numbers, this way I can spend away in my mind for a bit!

 

Looks like you had fun! Someday I'll get out there for that.

Last Saturday we had rain, snow, hail, and sleet. All with high winds, what was amazing was they actually forecasted it.

 

Evening Everyone one! im stressed! work has been a bitch! we are movin my youngest W,T,F and im being overloaded with wife tellin me what the Hell i need to do!!! Im like lets talk one day at a time and ill do what ever i need to do. Dont start hollerin ,im like im not but Shit just did 12 hr shift, took no lunch and only been home 9 fn minutes. give me a fn break. and i ant goin to the Damn shop this is my damn house. other than that an okay day. Sorry for the vent. i need a zanax and 6pk! Hope everyone else has had a good day! Ill take one for the team.
