    Howdy All,

I am putting together a trip for the guys at Fieldcraft Survival running along the US / Mexican border from New Mexico through Arizona to Socal in December.

Normally this would be a super secret plan that we just let folks see what we are doing once we are dong it.

This time I wanted to do it different and take folks along through the logistical planning, permits and thought process that gets 4-20 rigs (group size will vary) across 3 states in 11 days on the "Southern Border Adventure"

Some of the stuff I will cover here but some will be in slightly more formal articles on the Fieldcraft Blog once a week, and here is the first:

Otherwise feel free to ask questions and I will try to take everyone along behind the scenes.

First of all know your goal:

This is a FUN trip that will capture video and photo content for the Fieldcraft social media machine, we will test some gear, do some shooting and see cool places.

Knowing the goal makes it much easier to plan. It is a far different trip if you just want to see ghost towns vs if you want to video ghost towns for others to see.

Fieldcraft has a group of folks called the "Tribe" and they will get to join the adventure 2 of the days with camping, that presents some logistical challenges.

Lastly we are in an area that has plenty of Border Patrol and other interesting folks....that is a challenge :)

More info coming as I lay out the thought process and actual planning process.
