Haha, and this is how you distract the AT guys from the MT guys getting their tune early. Hurry OVTune, get out those Tunes before they realize what's happening.

So you don’t have the tune and you have no idea how the At’s drive with 1.04 as compAred to the stock truck you drove and you make a judgement like that??????????????????????????

Drove a manual for the last 14 years, and even though tacoma's at is less than ideal, i don't miss manual one bit.

 

The extra "?"s felt a little threatening. That 17 was the first automatic I've ever owned (since starting driving in 98) and well, definitely the last. Honestly, I have 0 issue with people having AT or MT, each their own, same as no issue with those that have a Sport 2wd vs 4wd. There is no team MT, or team AT, we're all team Tacoma. THAT'S what matters.

 

If anyone with a MT in very high elevation would be willing to log some driving on 1.05 we can wrap it up and release for MT by this weekend for all MT ecu versions (for sure)
91 octane minimum requirement though. 04B13 or 04A71 ecu ID preferred.

Logging consists of laptop in the truck, click record on logger, and just do your normal daily drive.

If you have offered before, I am sorry for not getting back to you, we get 1.05 requests daily.



I'm still working on AT too!

 

@OVTune I live in Utah, ~4500 feet average and have some mods. I have the next two days off and can drive up in the mtns which are at 7000 feet. Iam 04B13 and can run 91 fuel and can log.

I can also do runs of my daily commute and other general driving. Just let me know what you need.

 

Nice, I have AT but glad to see things moving along for MT.

I think this is good news that you’re testing high elevation - I’m at base of 3,500 feet in Calgary but frequently travel several thousand feet higher.

 

Oh so close, but your missing that one very important detail he asked specifically for. Very high elevation. Geesh.. people. Ya sea level counts duh

 

Hell yah, and guess what I owned a cable throttle MT (2003) nothing comes close to that. I burned them loose in 2nd. The new MT feels like it’s goong to break in my hand

 

But he got OVTune to reply and said yes. Never hurts to ask.
