Haven't even checked my tickets. I'll do that when I get home.
I would more than settle for a couple hundred grand.
I'd be out of this ct hell hole in a New York minute. (that's a joke son)

I'd do similar. I'd also buy a few houses around the country and rent them out 80% of the time, and visit them when I wanted.

Shrug. I'd be perfectly happy if I won, lol. But, I wouldn't be one of the 'idle rich' lounging around and going to parties. I'd buy a big lump of property off in the middle of nowhere, have a bunch of animals, and work the land as a farmer/homesteader, just with the freedom of knowing that I wouldn't lose everything if I had a bad year. I'd have some nice toys, too, but I'd still spend my days working. :notsure:

...except for when I took a vacation to one of my several houses scattered around the hemisphere :D

    Called in today.
The way this has gone so far, and very little sleep last night, ripping headache, blah blah, decided it was safer to postpone todays job. Cant afford to be tired/frustrated/distracted. Screwing up is not really an option.

Sometimes i wish there was a way i could vent and rant, appropriately, without putting stuff out in the open.... you know?

Anyway, put in my voodoo box this morning, then, gonna put my youngest on the bus, and spend the day with my wife, getting some things done.

Might have to rethink how i mount my bike.....

That looks sharp. Can you slide it back and forth in the bed channels, or is it pretty much set in place once you mount it?

I havent tried to yet, but, it sure seems that way. Biggest issue i see would be the small "catches" in the rails where the cleats latch.
However, im limited with the cover.

But, i can drop it right out with either the 4 rail bolts, or leave the brackets in and drop the box from the brackets(would probably be easiest for quick in and out if i dont need the rails.

Definitly pulled the bedsides in a little. Think im gonna grab a set of those bed brackets.

Money isn’t the problem, it’s not having a purpose that hurts some of the the rich. If you have a goal and self motivation money will only further your abilities and add options.

Or you could get lazy, get a substance abuse problem and ruin your life.

    All in your approach

I would do something similar except for the homestead part of it. I'd want the rural area and land do have a garden and toys. After that, I would start my own company and flip houses. It's something I've always wanted to do but I'd be able to back myself financially. That way, if I have a couple that I end up losing on, I can take the lesson learned and not be completely out of business. I could also afford to be somewhat selective with the houses I choose to work with.

We decided at work that $3 million was the cutoff between ruining your life and winning just enough...It's about $1.6 after taxes and invested properly yields about $140K a year without touching the principle...Good for life. No worries.

BTW for sox fans, They interviewed Nunez after the game last night and he said on Monday night cora told him that "I'm starting Devers tomorrow, but you be ready...I'm going to pinch hit you for him in the 7th when they bring in a lefty to face him..."

And that's exactly what he did and BOOM...homerun

You guys saying your lives wouldn't change are all liars. A few extra toys and a bit more land? Still work? Horseshit I say. At least I'm honest.. I'd probably be found dead on a pile of cocaine and hookers within a month.

For me, it would all depend on how much.

A comfortable amount, id go back to doing what i was completely happy doing, where i was happiest.
BIG hit... Id retire. Or semi retire. Or open my own shop, and let someone else work.
But, mostly, id be found sitting on the beach(probaly PINS), pretending tk fish for shark, or drum, or whatever, while drink tequila and coronas in the sun......

Id have to go back to work eventually, or id go crazy.

Honestly I'd still work as well for two honest reasons. 1) I actually love my job and profession in general (basically paid to watch sports all day and deal with injuries) 2) the fiance and I have WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much student loan debt to pay off (like close to 300k combined once everything is paid off due to interest). Pay off the loans, the credit cards, my truck/her suv, buy a house. Let's see how much we'd have leftover...nowhere near enough to retire at 25 and live off of

Well then if you win, I'll fall on that grenade for you and take the winnings off your hands to save you from that horrible fate.

Call me a liar if you want, but I'd have to still do something or I'd go crazy, and what I enjoy the most is farming/homesteading stuff, so that's what I'd do. Big garden, lots of land, some fairly low-maintenance livestock (beef cattle, pigs, goats, chickens etc) and projects to do with a fancy new tractor (and probably a mini-ex) and I'd be very happy.
