    Once the stock motor takes a shit this would be cool, but not 20k cool.

    Diesel engines in the US are a mess. No thanks. Super cool though that they made it work. I suppose if the 3.5 ever dies I might look into this.

    Edit: I just read that no DEF was required which sparked my interest however when I got to the price I was completely out. $28500. No thanks I can literally buy another Tacoma for that.

    The mpgs on the hilux with this engine also only average 21 mpgs. So not only is the engine not that much more powerful but fuel costs will increase and you don’t gain any mpgs for the most part.

    I think it’s a cool conversion but a complete waste of money. They probably charge so much because no one buys them.
