Varies. I think retail is somewhere in the $900 range. I didn't pay anywhere near that...details to follow.

And yeah, 3" is the sweet spot to allow more travel and clearance but before you have to start cutting/welding

Well...OK.

 

Washed and waxed the Taco today.
Washing overdue, waxing to but both needed before the first snow of the season.
Fluid Film completed in Sept. Thanks to Surfandturf..
2nd coat of wax in a couple of days.

I'm a big fan of the longer lasting sealants these days. With wax you're lucky to get 4-6 weeks of true protection. There are some very easy to use sealants that last for 4-6 months. CarPro makes 2 very good ones. RELOAD which is a spray on and wipe off, and HYDRO2 which is a spray on a wet truck, and hose off, then dry. Both are awesome and very easy to use and last a very long time.
I recently tried something called BEADMAKER from P&S. seems to also last a long time and is less expensive than the carpro products.
I use reload in spring and late summer , then hydro2 this time of year. Itll get me through til its warm sought to drag the hose out again.

I've done a bunch of CT tacos with FF. The cans do work, they will cost you more and not get as good coverage as my compressor and spray gun. I'm working from home a lot these days in granby ct. PM me to setup a time if you'd like. $40 and 15mins is all i need.

 

Anyone have some decent welding skills and the ability to cut steel? I have gathered material for a custom bed cage and would rather pay someone for the welding expertise than most this up myself. PM me..

Well... I joined the Taco family. Many will frown on this, but I got me a leased one. It works for me.

It’s a 2018 Limited Double Cab in Cement Grey.

One thing I wish I could do, lock the damn doors just walking away and unlock by pulling the handles like my wife’s civic.

How about when we only had keys? Did that slow you down? Or are you to young to know what Keys are?
