Im looking into buying an 03 tacoma. The previous owner took it to a dealer for a rust recall. The dealer replaced the frame and some other things (wiring, break lines, u bolts to the body ect...). From the pics and from talking to him the body and all other components seem fine. Just wondering what you guys have heard about this recall, and if theres anything dealers aren't replacing that might rust out unusually quick.

    thanks for the help

I've heard about it. At least 1 member I know of had his frame replaced. Otherwise, it's been my experience that the tacos are pretty much bulletproof...axle wrap being the exception.
