TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
After reading other posts on purchasing a plug and play replacement I decided I would try a different approach, cut out the speaker from it's housing and install an aftermarket tweeter inside of the OEM bracket.

I had obtained 4x Bose tweeters from scavenging around a scrap yard one day(pulled from a Cadillac or Lincoln quite some time ago). I was lucky they were just the right size to drop into the OEM speaker mount.
Going to install the other 2x on each side of the jump seats in the back soon. I order some tweeter housing on E-bay and am awaiting arrival.
After cutting out the paper cone and voice coil, I glued a small piece of foam onto the OEM magnet left over. Then wrapped the Bose tweeter in foam weather stripping and carefully squeezed it into place. The 2 magnets were opposing poles so it is not going to move at all. Then soldered the wires to the the OEM terminals. Mod complete.
