Dashtop Multi Mount except not so "multi"

This is the version I probably would have bought if it was available when I bought the DMM. I am very satisfied with the DMM, but I don't use any other devices on it.

The DMM was a perfect fit for me though.

I am sure (certain) that you are doing this, but I would recommend spacing the holes similarly to the DMM to allow future upgrades.

Depending on price, I'd be interested. Although I'd prefer to buy only what I want, not bundled with phone mount, etc.

 

I'm in at the right price point. Liked the quality of your previous version, but don't need the multi mount option. Don't know if you've considered one for your bundles, but I'll be going with a magnetic attachment.

 

Quick question: Let's say you buy this and run it for a while, but find later you want to switch over to the full DMM for the additional expandability. Will the holes drilled in the dash line up between the two models?

The only reason I would sell it bundled is so that I can have good margins without too much markup, bundling it would give me that little more profit but at the same time it would add value for you. I want to make this available to you guys but I also have to make sure its worth it for me.

 

You should come up with modular one. maybe one that has 3 pieces and you can expand when you want.

 

That would kind of work, one of the benefits and maybe the most important of having one piece on the top is that the load spreads throughout the whole length of the piece, thats what makes it so sturdy, that's also the reason why you want to use all four bottom plates not just one or two, the trim itself is plastic adding the plates minimizes vibration and the chance of breaking the plastic.
Its a good Idea and I will keep it in mind though...

Definitely interested in this, unfortunately shipping costs to Canada will dictate if I buy or not. Shipping for the DMM shipping is $33 and if the DSM is in a similar range then it may not be realistic to spend as much on shipping as the cost of the product, but that's a me problem and this DSM looks to cover everything I'd want in a phone holder.

 

Shipping to canada is not that expensive unfortunately I haven't been able to figure out why the website keeps asking for that much, I'm no web designer. I'm a mechanic that happens to like Tacomas and now I'm here with a website and all, I've had to learn a lot to get this far, PM me your full name and address and I will get you a real shipping quote and a way to order without paying $33

I would probably be interested depending on price. How big a pain is it to use the tabbed phone mount? I have a magnetic one that I have been using for years and I really like how easy it is to get the phone on/off. It mounts in the CD tray and the covers up the clock which bugs me a lot. Yeah I'm high maintenance.
