Door handle swap?

Here are some closeups of a Limited handle:

I started to pry the chrome piece from the front end and discovered that it’s glued in place. Also, if you look at the 3rd pic, that round white part with the yellow appears to be securing it as well. If you grind that area and carefully pry off the trim, you should be able to paint or wrap the chrome, then glue them back on.
