So recently, when turning on the truck, the radio tries to dial a call to my cell phone number. This happens every time that I start the truck and bluetooth is enabled on my cell (It's always enabled so it can talk to my smartwatch). But I don't know why this is happening all of a sudden. I have to end the call from the radio screen every time. The phone itself doesn't show any activity and shows no indication that it is trying to make a call. I would take it to Toyota, but i'm out of the warranty period for the radio. Just wondering if anyone has seen this.

I did do a firmware upgrade on the head unit from a file downloaded from Toyota a few months ago, but this issue popped up just a few weeks ago. And it's not 100% consistent.

try deleting the BT connection on your phone then re-pair it with the radio.

Tried that already. It solved it for a few days. It came back. I'm going to turn the Bluetooth off on the Android that is my primary phone and turn on the work iPhone and see if it does it with that phone as well.

Well, I forgot my smart watch this morning and the truck didn't try making a call automatically. So it's something with the watch. Weirdness.
