How different is the bolt pattern between a jeep and taco?
Have ordered this spare tire mount from jeep to install in the bed of the taco for spare tire.
Looks like it comes with 3 studs (for jeep wheel) and need to find a "spacer" adapter from jeep to taco. Google did not find any info. Any help from jeep owners that have both vehicles?

That’s a JL mount. 5 on 5 lug pattern. An adapter is about 2” thick and $120 for a 4 pack.

Or you could you just cut 2 of those studs off. Drill holes and run 2 new bolts through using one of the originals.

    THANK YOU.
Amazon does NOT take Pay Pal, need to find it elsewhere, at least I know what I need.

Please please post a pic of the finished product. I want a way to securely have a spare in the bed!

    Will do.
Reason I'm bending backwards for this project is:
    - want to have a spare same like the 4 tires on ground :)
    - in order to have the identical tire, need to have the same wheel :(
    - present wheels have been discontinued 2 years ago :(
    - found 1 wheel like the 4 ones and ordered the tire :)
    - if mounted under the truck, the wheel will get scratched from road junk :(
    - in bed mounted, I can lock it and also substitutes the "fuck off, I don't want to move your furniture" :)
    - since I am a bit anal, (OK, a lot) I want the best looking (I know, is under the tire) and functional setup. :)
