Free swag?

there used to be a package.......... chevy or ford, truck came with a long gun, and a rack.
back in the good old days

 

I got a bed extender and a set of all weather floor mats.

 

All I got was my cluster gauge scratched by the detailers.

 

Fuck yeah, truck gun. I wasn’t even born during those days. I have the luxury of only knowing a time when “truck gun” is an absurd and extremely violent notion. But I still have a truck gun.

 

I felt like I bled the dealer so hard on price they just wanted to finish the deal and see me leave. They didn’t want to open the door for me on my way out let alone give me some free stuff. I’m not sure I’d be too proud of getting a bunch of stuff. I’ve bought quite a few new cars, did poorly the first few times around but now have good experience to make sure they’re only getting credit for a sale and not making more than a few dollars on the sale.

 

At least my salesman offered me 10% off of the beanie I asked for free. I gave gave him a PSSSSH! But when I asked them to take the dealer license plate frames off I was asked why then they laughed when I told them they weren’t paying for me to advertise for them. Then got really butthurt when the leather man came out and I took them off myself.
