Installed new 6k LED factory fit fog light and ditch light brackets

I went to my guy at 6k LED in Anaheim California to get his new mini round fog light kit done today! Great customer service and easy to use parts! Check out the installed lights.

The lights are gen 3 OEM no cut fit with the h11 connector 20w total led

The ditch lights brackets are $39 a set

The fogs lights are $99 with brackets

He’s experimenting with amber but nothing solid yet!

Damn, I sure could have used those fog brackets when trying to mount a set of KC fogs that in no way fit the opening of my SR! (Still not right and will need a custom fiberglas frame here shortly)

No, it’s made in a way where it wedged in, I asked the same

 

Here’s a side by side light test from the 6k fogs with yellow film on the right vs the Baja Squadron sport in the left looking at the front of the trucks not much difference

 

Can he make ambers?

Actually we did testing last night to compare on a set of Baja Squadron sports. Truck with BD squadron on the left and the 6k on the right!

 

No forward facing LED without a projector lens should be run on the street. You can very easily see in the photos that the lights produce massive glare, just like the BD Squadrons are well known to do and why the lights are off road use only. BD specifically states the design is not street legal. Maybe great for trail lights, or if there are no other cars on the road, but to run on the street and not blind others you want a real SAE fog light.

What’s the word on the ambers. When are they going to be available

 

The Rigid Amber SAE launch is in December. Pricing is the same as their white SAE pods.
