Help with bump stops.

In a pickle right now. The plate can’t sit flat because of that bolt. Any suggestions? Thank you.

 

I believe I had the same problem with my Dakar pack and wheelers superbumps & uBolt flip kit but I just ended up making it work without having to grind anything down... hard to remember... can you force it on and snug down the plate?

 

na, i mean i want to try to bolt it down and hope it goes through, but i dont want to break anything.

 

Grind it down. Common issue, common fix. Make sure the leaf pin is torqued down properly.

If you try to just torque down the bump stop mounting plate without it fully seated, you’re actually compromising the ubolt torque value which is literally what keeps your rear end attached to the truck.

 

thats the stock pin so im assuming its torqued down properly.

yeah i think ill take a hack saw to it.
