I've got some vacation time, a good truck, and the love to camp and explore in the good desert weather before winter hits, anyone up for a trip?

I live in Durango, CO and one of my favorite hobbies is to explore to open land in every direction. This is an ideal time for some desert trips. Im looking to see if anyone or a group wants to meet up for anywhere from 2 days to several. Go drive lots of dirt roads, some mid to difficult 4x4 and camp and maybe hike and explore somewhere within several hours of here.

I have a trd offroad, with king oem with a 2 inch lift and 265/75/16 tires. Lots off offroad practice, I like a bit of a challenge, don't mind getting a stuck, but try avoid situations that could cause lots of damage.

Any interest? Anytime between now and snow, but sooner the better.

This time just going through to see the place for a day. We are doing a whirlwind tour from Dallas to Santa Fe, then to Vegas for a hockey game .Then up to Moab. WillW spend a day and a half there. Then down to four corners to Roswell. Then back home. Them in spring time we'll go back to Moab for some camping when it's warmed up some.

I'd be interested. I'm about half convinced to head up to the Bisti Wilderness tomorrow.

Bisti is pretty cool, been there a few times to hike around, you could spend a few days in there to see it all.

Yeah, I’m about decided to go, now I’m pondering whether to take the Moto or the taco.
