Silver sky

Another example of how they got this right: rainy Nebraska sky and the Tacoma silver sky metallic.

 

So glad I got this color. It captures my essence, cloudy with a high chance of elitist douche.

 

That’s the color of my next Tacoma.

Lots of silver vehicles on the road, and the Tacoma SSM is one of the best, it has some unusual property that it almost looks liquid in certain lighting imo.

But when I saw the quicksand SR5 access cab on the dealership lot, I thought it was one of the nicest trucks I had ever seen. Got a pretty good deal on it because it was sitting on the lot for months, apparently I was one of the only people who liked that color at that time.

No accounting for taste, lol.

We are both happy with our trucks, that is all that matters.

I have seen some 3rd gen silver trucks where the paint didn’t seem uniform. I don’t know if they were collision repairs or what. Most of them look bad ass. Certainly a cooler shade of silver than my 2013 but I liked it too until the head on.

Yup, fantastic color!!

 

They really do match the sky some days, never noticed before. What I love is how well this color hides flaws and scratches, and when the truck is clean it looks brand new again. I’ve got so many dents, dings, scratches and scrapes and it still looks awesome.

 

What all you have going on there? Looks super, as well as the color!
