Whats up with RCI?

I ordered an aluminum skid from them a few day back, they never send an order confirmation, charge my card, and aren't returning my emails.

Is this normal?

 

What’s “a few days”? Maybe off on a business or family thing?

They were fast on my last order. Also check your email trash, they may have an out of office autoreply set on or something...

 

Yeah, this sounds like it might be a "crossed wires" situation. Perhaps they're out on family or business thing as mentioned above, or... their order notification/e-mail service or software is shitting the bed? I got an order confirmation from sales@rcioffroad.com quickly and a couple extras (modifications to the order?). I knew they had a bit of a lead time, which was stretched a little because they said their powder coating place was backed up, but I reached out anyway and within 24 hours had a detailed, human-drafted response (or pre-written, but who knows). Other than the slightly longer lead time, everything went well. Check that spam box or just call them, maybe?

 

Ordered my ditch light brackets last weekend...got three emails in quick succession and the brackets arrived yesterday.

Just wish I had been able to attend their open house last weekend....

I have their skids and sliders and customer service has been good. Emailed them with some questions and they got back to me. Lead times were a little long but I expected that since I order when they have sales.

RCI seem like good guys.

 

I had great response and product in hand a few years ago when I ordered my sliders. Unlike other vendors here, only a few weeks wait time, not six months.
