My truck IS "bogging" down.. (Horrible power loss & MPG's)

    I got the same problem, but my 03 is at 261,698 miles. And started about 8,000 miles ago. I can only get up to 40-45...

    Hey all - been having a similar issue after my son and I went off road. Pinned it hard up this climb and then engine starting bogging down anytime I gave it gas. For reference, 2000 taco, 4x4, sr5, v6. Steps: 1. seafoam, 2. cleaned maf, 3. replaced fuel filter, 4. cleaned throttle body, 5. replaced maf.

    The new maf fixed it and it's running better than ever. Just wanted to point out that cleaning the MAF may not do the trick and it was really easy and relatively inexpensive to replace.
