    I copied a product that sells for $450. But theirs only has about 18" of vertical travel. Mine has 30"

    Testing the recent valving changes. Getting better for sure. Gonna make some adjustments to the bypasses before a trip to the dunes in a few weeks

    Last few tweaks to the mx hauler and its level of sketchiness went down from moderate to minimal. Even survived a 60mph test drive. I'd say it's ready for a 1300 mile road trip in two weeks with speeds of 85-90 likely to happen.

    Final deep cleaning and race prep before next weekends road trip and shenanigans. With 120k miles of abuse, she's starting to show some signs of wear and tear. Hopefully with the dd arriving in 2 weeks next year will bring time to start addressing some of them.

    That's exactly what i've been wanting! something like that is perfect, because you can still use the tailgate as an extension! Brilliant Wish you were closer i'd love to have one.

    Did you buy this made somewhere? or was it something you made? I have access to a waterjet too so I can always make one, but an off the shelf one is much easier.

    Nice build thread, I don't know how I missed it!

    Thanks. Unfortunately the dual action tire gate is gone. Doing more high speed, rough desert stuff, it just wasn't sturdy enough to hold the 35" spare. I'm sure I could have started over and come up with a better design, but decided to change things up. As for the bottle opener, I bought it for like $5 online. If you search for it there are several companies selling them

    lol thanks. Wasn't planning on going this far when I built that bumper and then did basically right when I finished it. Live and learn and gain more experience. Seems like I'm always changing something.

    Exactly. Now that the truck is this built and I have a dd a roll cage is on the to do list. Just going to wait until spring when I don't have to worry about snow and can tear the truck apart for a little while
