    hello new to Tacoma world , own a 2018 2.7 dbcb 2 wd. So I have a question and I am sure it has been asked already, so it seems this transmission up shifts and down shifts a lot ,. It is really annoying going down the road and hit a slight incline and it seems to shift non stop and the rpms are in the 35p00 to 4500 range . Should I take the truck back to Toyota . I have 12,274 miles on it . Thanks

    Welcome to the forum.
    I believe that’s a known problem with the 3rd gens.
    Plenty of chatter on that issue.

    Ok thanks for the replies. I just think sometimes it does not know what gear to be in Especially when I’m using the adaptive cruise control and I have it set at 75 and it’s Climbin the incline it’s a hard shift up from 3000 to 4500 rpm’s planning to go back down it’s just crazy how many times of shifts I feel like it’s going to break LOL
